The “Les Grecques” watch collection was introduced in 1982 and produced until 1987. Its designs drew heavily on classical Greek aesthetics, featuring elements such as Corinthian-style bezels, Greek key motifs on the dial, and bracelets crafted to reflect the balance and symmetry associated with Greek art. In a 1987 brochure, Patek Philippe described the inspiration behind the line, stating: “The Greek civilization, mother of all the arts, has endowed us with a highly developed sense of proportion… This sense is illustrated in the ‘Les Grecques’ collection.”

Patek Philippe 3776 “Les Grecques” is as un-Patek as it gets. Restraint be damned, what we see with the 3776 is an exploration in design, creativity, textures and details. The result is something akin to a long-lost treasure. A stunning chain-mail like gold bracelet, a bold and angular rectangular case complete with diamonds on the two horizontal edges, a Greek-stylised meander pattern surrounding the silver dial. The two vertical edges of the bezel that look similar to that of a Greek temple column. A special, special piece.
