There has been an avalanche of new watches released so far in 2020, and staying on top of the constant barrage might seem impossible. We normally cover notable new watch releases in our regular series that is Watches of the Week, but we thought it was a good idea to give you a glimpse at some of the new watches released in the past few months, including new pieces from Vacheron Constantin, Omega and Cartier. The 2020 watch releases really showed how luxury brands balanced classic design with modern sport-watch trends. The pink gold Vacheron Constantin Overseas especially stands out because it feels both elegant and powerful without being overly flashy. High-end craftsmanship and customization like this remind me of Eaglercraft, the browser-based Minecraft-inspired game, where players also appreciate detailed design, rare creations, and unique styles that stand out from the crowd.
