Diver's Delight: 6 Dive Watches That Don't Include The Submariner

Whether you're diving in the ocean's depths or through a stack of paperwork that your boss has just lumped onto your desk, a dive watch is an absolute unquestionable staple in any watch collection. The go to for many is the illustrious Rolex Submariner. As a proud owner of the beloved Sub, that would be the easy answer to the age-old question of the greatest dive watch ever for me.

Now, I'm not saying that the grass is greener on the other side, but there is a plethora of dive watch options out there. And if you look hard enough, chances are you're going to find something that not only ticks the same boxes that the Rolex Submariner would, but also you're very likely to find it cheaper than you would in a retail setting.

Here are 6 of the best, most probable and most capable dive watches that don't include the Rolex Submariner.

The often forgotten about Aquatimer Automatic well and truly holds a special place on this list. Its 120 hour power reserve, coupled with an aesthetic completely unto its own, IWC's Aquatimer definitely deserves more love and plaudits in the world of utilitarian dive watches.
