MR PORTER: Watch Picks Of The Week

And last week was dominated by the MR PORTER Keeping Time campaign, which highlighted the beautiful synergy between music and time, with pieces from Vacheron Constantin, Hermès and Cartier all featuring.

This week's edition of MR PORTER: Watch Picks Of The Week continues on in a similar vein, with a handful of notable watches pinging my interest, and thus making the list! I've got a super subtle NOMOS Glashütte for you, along with a classical Tank from Cartier and a solid all-rounder from IWC.

NOMOS Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 39

NOMOS Glashütte is such an interesting entry-level brand. It features manufacture movements, simple yet wonderfully executed dials, dimensions that are both classical and wearable, as well as an almost instinctively identifiable aesthetic that has become synonymous with the brand. And perhaps one of NOMOS' most stand out pieces is this, the brilliant little Tangente Neomatik 39.

IWC Portugieser Chronograph

A timeless design that echoes through the ages makes for a package that is undeniably astute, intrinsically significant and one that holds merit as a generational icon. Here is the latest variation of the acclaimed Portugieser Chronograph, complete with a fresh new update with pops of blue throughout.

Cartier Tank Must de Cartier

A subtle, sophisticated affair is what the Cartier Tank Must de Cartier is. Soft lines and edges, a deep black dial, an ornate jewelled crown and a storied history. The Cartier Tank Must de Cartier is an enigma of contemporary horology.

Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro PAM01288

The Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro PAM01288 holds true as a do-it-all type of timepiece. Wearable proportions, good balance, steeped in tradition and filled with personality, the Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro PAM01288 is a defining reference that continues to push the boundaries.

IWC Aquatimer Chronograph

IWC's Aquatimer Chronograph brings together the worlds of practicality, durability and versatility in one sleek, sophisticated package. The combination of a day-date function, a chronograph and the propensity to handle more than just a splash of water makes the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph a triumph of contemporary real-world relevance.

IWC Pilot's Mark XX

Finally, we have the very inconspicuous IWC Pilot's Mark XX. A beautiful entry point for the budding collector, the IWC Pilot's Mark XX has a lovely sunburst navy blue dial matched with a navy leather strap, proving that it's as easy a wearer as it is an accessible consideration.
