Made in Switzerland, this stainless-steel watch has a 42mm case designed with curved lines that not only looks good, but is remarkably comfortable to wear. IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN Pilot's Mark XVIII Automatic 40mm Stainless Steel And Webbing

Modelled after the house's original 1948 version, IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN's 'Mark XVIII' watch incorporates the functionalities and design elements of those worn by pilots - note the three-engine airplane engraved on the case back. This 40mm stainless steel piece is powered by the brand's Swiss-made calibre 35111 automatic movement and has a soft iron inner case that protects against magnetic fields, ensuring more accurate timekeeping. It's fitted with a robust webbing strap that will endure years of wear.

BREMONT ALT1-ZT/51 Chronograph 43mm Stainless Steel And Leather

Bremont's 'ALT1-Z' series is designed with aviators and world travellers in mind - the 'Z' stands for 'Zulu Time' and allows the wearer to display local time together with the official world time standard. This highly anticipated model places rugged construction alongside this sophisticated functionality, made from hardened stainless steel with a reinforced sapphire crystal that is both anti-reflective and scratch-resistant. Finished with a clean and legible chronograph dial, sleek leather strap and automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, it's truly a watch for high fliers.

VACHERON CONSTANTIN Overseas Automatic 41mm Stainless Steel

This 41mm stainless steel timepiece is part of Vacheron Constantin's practical 'Overseas' line and comes with two accompanying straps – one rubber and one alligator – that you can easily swap yourself. It has a blue dial accented with silver luminescent hands and indices for excellent readability, as well as a discreet date window at the 3 o'clock mark. The exhibition case back showcases the inner workings of the calibre 5100 automatic movement.

BELL & ROSS WW1 Opalin Argentium And Alligator

French horology expert Bell & Ross manufactures all its timepieces in Switzerland with unfaltering care and consideration. From the vintage-inspired 'WW1' line, this watch is masterfully crafted from polished Argentium® - purer than silver, the alloy is more striking and resistant to wear and oxidation. The lustrous opaline dial is the perfect complement to the grey alligator strap, while the 'barleycorn' guilloché case back underpins the label's eminence. The impressive 40-hour power reserve makes it as practical as it is stylish.

IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 43mm Stainless Steel And Alligator

Powered by a calibre 89630 movement, IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN's 'Da Vinci' watch is the brand's first timepiece to combine a double chronograph counter with a moon phase complication on one sub-dial. It has been meticulously crafted in Switzerland from stainless steel and backed with sapphire glass to showcase the intricate workings of the mechanical movement. The perpetual calendar function is so precise that it will only need to be adjusted by one day after 577.5 years.

IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN Pilot's Chronograph 43mm Stainless Steel And Leather

Swiss horology specialist IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN touts this 'Pilot's' chronograph watch as looking "uncannily like the original 1940 model". In fact, it's defined by a distinctive triangle index and slim five-minute indices for the same easy legibility that served members of the Royal Air Force during the early 20th century. You can depend on the precise calibre 79320 movement, hardy stainless-steel case and smooth Santoni leather strap for daily wear.

CARTIER Tank Louis Cartier 34mm 18-Karat Gold And Alligator

The Cartier name alone is well-esteemed, but the French house's high regard is validated by the impressive workmanship that goes into its fine watches. Manufactured in Switzerland, this 'Tank' edition is modelled after the one worn by Mr Louis Cartier himself and features rounded lugs inspired by his appreciation for Art Deco style. The 18-karat gold case houses a precise quartz movement and handsomely complements the sapphire crown and brown alligator strap.

IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN Pilot's Le Petit Prince Edition Chronograph 43mm Stainless Steel And Leather

Since 2006, Swiss horology expert IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN has honoured the life's work of pilot and poet Mr Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who is most famous for his 1943 literary classic The Little Prince. A pioneering blend of precision, functionality and reliability, this 'Pilot's' watch has a robust 79320 calibre chronograph movement housed in a stainless steel and soft-iron case - the combination protects against external magnetic field interference to maintain accuracy. The back is engraved with an image of the Little Prince sporting his coat and sword - the same way Saint-Exupéry drew him.

ORIS Carl Brashear Chronograph 43mm Burnished Bronze And Leather

Part of a limited run of 2000, this Oris watch is a fitting tribute to the spirit and integrity of decorated American diver Mr Carl Brashear. Affixed to a softened leather strap, it's encased in burnished-bronze to recall vintage pieces and powered by the brand's modified 771 automatic chronograph movement. The stainless steel caseback is engraved with Brashear's own words: "It's not a sin to get knocked down, it's a sin to stay down."

ZENITH Defy Classic Automatic Skeleton 41mm Brushed-Titanium And Rubber

An icon in the world of horology, Zenith has engineered over 600 movements in-house - one of which you can see through the skeletal brushed-titanium case of this 'Defy' timepiece. It's powered by the brand's 'Elite' automatic movement that has an impressive 50-hour power reserve and features a silicon escape wheel and lever for more accurate timekeeping. The Super-LumiNova®-coated hands make the dial easy to read even in low-light conditions.

IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN Pilot's Mark XVIII Heritage Titanium And Leather

Inspired by the look of IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN's famed 'Big Pilot's Watch T.S.C' from the 1940s, this 'Pilot's Mark XVIII Heritage' reference is designed to become one of your most functional essentials. It's powered by a calibre 35111 automatic movement housed in a robust titanium and soft-iron case that protects against magnetic field interference and has a clearly arranged black dial marked by luminescent indices - just as legible and precise as any airman could ask for.
