Last week was full of some incredible new watches, including releases from Blancpain, a superb offering from Glashütte Original and an insanely expensive Richard Mille that you couldn't help but smile at. This week's edition is a tamer affair, albeit one that is still considerably exciting given the calibre of watches released.
I'll be covering new watches from the likes of Urwerk, the brilliant independent watchmaker Romain Gauthier, the masterminds at Armin Strom, as well as two TAG Heuer's celebrating one of the most iconic road cars of all time. Happy reading and have a great week ahead.
Urwerk UR-120
Urwerk unveiled its latest invention, the little marvel that is the UR-120. With its obvious sci-fi-inspired aesthetic, the UR-120 is an invigorating bit of kit that defies the traditional notions of haute horlogerie.
Crafted in a sandblasted titanium and steel case, the UR-120 features Urwerk's signature satellite time display system, coupled with a semi-openworked dial that looks and feels utterly futuristic and incredibly brilliant.

Romain Gauthier C
Romain Gauthier unveiled its latest take on the sports watch with the platinum-clad C. Subtle details and beautiful finishings come together to create something that is tantamount to a bona fide masterpiece with the new C.
The grey sandblasted or blue PVD dial sits on top of a white gold base plate which contrasts well with the polished and brushed platinum case. But the focal point here is that amazing movement, finished to the absolute nth degree with hand frosting, engraving and polishing adorning every surface.
