Watches of the Week: 11/04/2022 - 17/04/2022

Welcome to the next edition of our regular series where we highlight all of the new and notable watch releases of the past seven days, Watches of the Week. In this week's column, we'll be featuring new watches from Richard Mille, Arnold & Son and NOMOS. Enjoy!

Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 38 Eclipse I

The first of two new pieces from Arnold & Son. The Perpetual Moon 38 Eclipse I features a white gold 38mm case complete with gem-setting. It features a super architectural aesthetic that continues Arnold & Son's thematic approach to watchmaking. The proverbial cherry on top of the Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 38 Eclipse I is the maison's new A&S1612 calibre, the smallest in its collection.

Arnold & Son Ultrathin Tourbillon

The second piece is the new Ultrathin Tourbillon. Available in either red gold or platinum, the new Arnold & Son Ultrathin Tourbillon features the maison's new technique aptly named 'Cosmic Grené', applied to both of the dials. In direct reference to stargazing, the Arnold & Son Ultrathin Tourbillon dials feature a sandblasted surface by way of mixing gold powder with aluminium which is then coloured, blue for the red gold model and green for the platinum variant. Both models are powered by the super thin 2.97mm A&S8300 calibre, a staple of Arnold & Son's collection of tourbillons.

Richard Mille RM 032 Voiles de Saint Barth

Made to celebrate the Voiles de Saint Barth Richard Mille regatta which takes place over six days in the Caribbean Sea, the new Richard Mille RM 032 Voiles de Saint Barth features all the tell-tale signs of a regatta-designed watch. Featuring blues and whites throughout, inspired by the Caribbean Sea, the Richard Mille RM 032 Voiles de Saint Barth's distinct colourway was made possible by the use of blue and white Quartz TPT, reinforced by a titanium case middle as well as lugs, inserts and a case back made from Carbon TPT. The Richard Mille RM 032 Voiles de Saint Barth features a flyback chronograph, an annual calendar, an indicateur de marche, and a half-turn locking crown. Limited to only 120 models and priced at $245,000USD.

BALL Engineer III Marvel Chronometer

BALL has introduced some new colour variations to its Engineer III Marvel Chronometer collection, including a forest green, burgundy red and ice blue colourway. Each piece features BALL's distinct finishings, beautifully balanced dials, a cyclops eye above the date window and a subtle yet pronounced look that rivals that of many other, more expensive watches. My pick of the three? Can't pick -- they're all so amazing!

NOMOS Glashütte Club Campus neomatik 39

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Greece Watch Club, NOMOS Glashütte has released the new limited edition Club Campus neomatik 39 to commemorate this momentous occasion for the watch collector's club. Featuring subtle allusions to Greece Watch Club like their logo on the crown and a colourway inspired by Greece itself, with the crowning jewel being the use of the manufacture DUW 3001 movement. The NOMOS Glashütte Club Campus neomatik 39 x GWC is limited to 20 pieces and is priced at $4,490AUD.
