Watches of the Week: 13/12/2021 - 19/12/2021

Welcome to the next Watches of the Week edition, and the final one before Christmas 2021! In this week's instalment, we'll be featuring new watches from Vacheron Constantin, Armin Strom, Breitling and Blancpain. Enjoy and Merry Christmas everyone!

Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon China

The first of two new incredible releases from Vacheron Constantin. The Traditionnelle Tourbillon China Limited Edition draws inspiration from Chinese Jade culture and is dressed entirely in Imperial Green, a colour that represents the purest and highest frade of green jadeite, which looks incredible against that 18K 5N pink gold case.

Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar

Vacheron Constantin's second release in this week's edition is the fabulous Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Openface. Available in either a white or pink gold case, the new Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Openface is an incredible depiction of the might of Vacheron Constantin. The dial is another amazing feat of watchmaking. Assembled in three parts, the dial has a slate grey guilloche upper part, a slate grey opaline flange with a sapphire crystal with 18K gold hour-markers. Completely out of left field but what a wonderful way to round off a super successful year for Vacheron.

Armin Strom Zeitgeist

To celebrate five years of Resonance technology, Armin Strom has unveiled the incredible piece unique Zeitgeist. The Zeitgeist's focal point is Armin Strom's patented Resonance Clutch Spring, sitting perfectly in that 43mm wide platinum case. We've got elements of minimalism and complexity in a package that is of the upmost haute horlogerie significance.

Roger Dubuis Opens Up Shop In Sydney

Roger Dubuis has officially opened its doors right here in Sydney. Located on Castlereagh Street, the new boutique offers an incredible and incomparable look into the contemporary and highly complicated world of the maison. Definitely worth a visit.

Made to celebrate the 2022 Lunar New Year, the new Traditional Chinese Calendar is made in platinum, has a white grand feu enamel dial and is made in a limited run of 50 pieces. The Blancpain Traditional Chinese Calendar has the indications of the lunisolar calendar on the dial, along with the zodiac sign of the year, which is the tiger, highlighted on the movement's rotor.

Breitling Navitimer Automatic 41

New from Breitling is the Navitimer Automatic 41. Available in a limited run of 500 pieces, this online exclusive reimagines the nostalgia of pilot's watches in an elegant and very sophisticated package. The Breitling Navitimer Automatic 41 is encased in 41mm of stainless steel, has a beautiful richly-coloured alligator leather strap which contrasts well with the white dial and matching blue dial highlights.

Franck Muller Vanguard Skeleton Colour Dreams

Franck Muller has unveiled the new Vanguard Skeleton Colour Dreams collection. Bright, colourful and supremely fun, the new Vanguard Skeleton Colour Dreams collection features the colours of the rainbow adorning the anodized aluminium satin bridges, depicting the eight colours of the Vanguard Skeleton Colour Dreams in three difference variations. The Vanguard Skeleton Colour Dreams comes with either a black carbon, a brushed titanium or a stainless steel case.

Raymond Weil Noemia

Adorned in 47 diamonds, the new Noemia from Raymond Weil is the perfect haute horlogerie timepeice for the astute female collector. Framed by two cascading lines of diamonds on the curvy case, the new Noemia is a delightfully delicate affair that comes with either a smoky green or grey dial.

Hermès Heure H

Available in either a steel or gem-set rose gold case, the new Hermès Heure H is a classical albeit avant-garde timepiece that combines high end jewellery and gem setting with traditional haute horlogerie. Really, really enjoy the peculiar look of this piece.
