Watches of the Week: 23/05/2022 - 29/05/2022

Another week has come and gone, which means another round up of all the latest watch releases in our regular series, Watches of the Week. In this week's edition, we'll be featuring new watches from Vacheron Constantin, Breitling and TAG Heuer. Enjoy!

Vacheron Constantin Tribute To Great Civilisations

Vacheron Constantin unveiled the latest Métiers d'Art masterpieces, this time paying tribute to great civilisations of the past. Created in collaboration with the Louvre, this new series dubbed the Métiers d'Art Tribute To Great Civilisations, draws inspiration from the great civilisation of Antiquity. There are four models, each made in a limited run of only four pieces, represent the Persian Empire of Darius the Great, the Egypt of the Pharaohs, the Hellenistic Greece of Alexander the Great's successors and Imperial Rome.

Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute

New from Breitling is the Navitimer Cosmonaute. A blast from the past, the new Navitimer Cosmonaute draws much of its inspiration from the iconic legend of yesteryear. It features all of the tell-tale signs of a true Navitimer in both its design and execution, while balancing the contemporary landscape of watchmaking with tradition and Breitling's rich history.

Rebellion Unveils Two New F1 Inspired Watches

Rebellion, the official timekeeper of Alfa Romeo's F1 Team ORLEN, has released two limited edition specced-out watches dedicated to the team's divers, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. Both models are made in a limited run of only 50 pieces, with each piece incorporating a part of the driver's cars. Both models feature a high-tech coloured carbon case with distinct colourways, with the lucky purchaser of each model being able to receive the watch by the driver it was inspired by.

Franck Muller Crazy Hours Limited Edition

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Crazy Hours timepiece, Franck Muller has released a handful of new celebratory models. Each piece features a redesigned dial in either rose gold or white gold, with the iconic "crazy hours" display being the focal point. But to make this special that much more special, Franck Muller has creatively combined the two hour numerals "10" and "3" in a way that it reads out "30", all the while filling those hour numerals with 20 brilliant-cut diamonds.

TAG Heuer Monaco Special Edition Monaco Grand Prix

Modelled after the 1970s TAG Heuer Monaco reference 74033N dubbed the "Dark Lord", the new TAG Heuer Monaco Special Edition 2022 Monaco Grand Prix is a true ode to the legend. Clad in a DLC coated titanium case offset by gold dial highlights and an open sapphire caseback with a matching gold rotor. It's a very cool, super modern version of what is perhaps one of TAG Heuer's most iconic models.
