MR PORTER x Haulogerie: Picks of the Week #4

In this week's round up of our favourite watches from MR PORTER, we've got a variety of timepieces from the likes of Vacheron Constantin, Montblanc, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Roger Dubuis. Enjoy!

Bell & Ross BR 123

Rugged, wearable and super travel-friendly, Bell & Ross' BR 123 is a perfect combination of accessibility, affordability and versatility. From its 42mm wide stainless steel case treated to polishing and satin finishing to the bold orange GMT hand, the BR 123 has a distinct look akin to the brand, but also one that is very much in keeping with what we've come to expect from a traditional GMT timepiece.

Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrerum LATIN UNICEF

Created in partnership with UNICEF, the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrerum LATIN UNICEF's distinctive atlas complication gives you the ability to tell the time in 24 different zones, simultaneously. There is plenty of colour and a lot going on with the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrerum LATIN UNICEF, but Montblanc has done a superb job in exercising restraint and maturity, crafting a worldtimer that is highly legible and of the utmost quality.

Montblanc Heritage Pulsograph Limited Edition

One of my favourite pieces from Montblanc and one I felt that I just had to feature, the Heritage Pulsograph Limited Edition perfectly sums up what I love about Montblanc. Within its 40mm wide stainless steel case and lying beneath the salmon sun-ray brushed dial sits the magnificent calibre MB M13.21. Not much else to say, really.

Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S Limited Edition

You know when the brands Roger Dubuis and Lamborghini come together to collaborate, you're going to have something special. With a movement inspired by the Lamborghini Aventador's legendary V12 engine, Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S Limited Edition is fast, furious and absolutely outstanding.

Cartier Santos Automatic

Exclusive to MR PORTER, the beloved Cartier Santos is one cool cat. Available in a slightly larger size, this particular model measures 35.60mm across, which I feel is a touch more wearable. Practical, reliable and timeless, the Santos is a classic amongst legends and perhaps more appealing than the iconic Tank.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph

Stainless steel chronographs are the in-thing right now, but for some reason Jaeger-LeCoultre's stunning Polaris isn't receiving the plaudits it deserves. Combining a beautiful blue dial with a functional stainless steel case, the Polaris is crisp, sharp, full of quality and very much in keeping with the modern demands of a wearable chronograph. Inspired by the original 1968 diver's alarm model, the Polaris Chronograph is exceptional.

Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Automatic

Crafted in 40mm of white gold, the Patrimony Automatic is an exemplary example of a classical time-only watch. Subtle, gorgeous lines and an understated look all come together to create a package that is undeniably appealing. Also available in a pink gold case, I feel that the white gold model looks far dressier and far more classical.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon

The Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon sits in a 40mm wide pink gold case, with Jaeger-LeCoultre's magnificent calibre 978G displaying its stunning tourbillon in all of its glory at the bottom of the dial. Featuring an 'eggshell' beige dial, Dauphine hands and a brown alligator leather strap, the Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon is the ultimate time-only tourbillon-based timepiece from the watchmakers' watchmaker.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Casa Fagliano Reverso Tribute Calendar Limited Edition

The second piece from Jaeger-LeCoultre is the Casa Fagliano Reverso Tribute Calendar Limited Edition. Featuring a supple leather strap hand crafted by the Argentinian artisans, Casa Fagliano, the Casa Fagliano Reverso Tribute Calendar Limited Edition has two distinct dials sitting within its art deco inspired rose gold case.

Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar

With its blue dial, blue leather strap and pink gold case, Vacheron Constantin's Overseas Perpetual Calendar is perhaps one of the world's most beautiful sports perpetual calendars. There is a certain delicacy of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar that is so damn difficult to articulate. Do yourself a favour and spend some hands-on time with it if you ever get the opportunity. And then you'll understand where I'm coming from.

IWC Limited Edition Big Pilot's Perpetual Calendar Lewis Hamilton

IWC's Limited Edition Big Pilot's Perpetual Calendar Lewis Hamilton was created for the Formula 1 world champion and long-standing partner of IWC. Limited to only 100 pieces, the Limited Edition Big Pilot's Perpetual Calendar Lewis Hamilton has a black ceramic and rose gold case, a distinctive burgundy-red dial along with IWC's exceptional 52615 calibre. Rich, prolific and as much of a statement watch as you can expect.
