MR PORTER x Haulogerie: Watch Picks of the Week #117

Welcome back to our regular series where we pick out some stand-out watches from MR PORTER's extensive roster of timepieces. In this week's edition, we'll be featuring some amazing new H. Moser & Cie additions, easily one of our favourite independent watchmakers.

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Calendar

H. Moser & Cie.'s 'Endeavour Perpetual Calendar' watch tracks time for you down to the leap year while still maintaining the label's signature refinement. It's crafted from 18-karat rose gold, which frames a signature smoked fumé dial, the result of a process of over 200 steps. Its hand-wound nature allows you to create a weekly ritual of appreciation for this exquisite timepiece.

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Tourbillon

The smoked dial of H. Moser & Cie.'s 'Endeavour' watch is a signature perfected by its workshop - the sunburst requires over 200 steps to produce. Quite as artful is the exposed tourbillon at six o'clock, a feat of mechanical precision that serves to enhance accuracy. It's crafted from 18-karat white gold and set on a kudu leather strap that ages beautifully.

H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Perpetual Calendar

Unlike some perpetual calendar watches, H. Moser & Cie.'s 'Pioneer' model - limited to just 50 pieces - is clear and easy to read. It has an uncluttered blue fumé dial with large Super-LumiNova®-coated hands and indices, allowing you to view the time, date and 7-day power reserve, even in low-light conditions. Crafted in Switzerland from stainless steel, it's powered by an award-winning, in-house calibre HMC 808 hand-wound movement that's visible through the exhibition case back and set on a durable, perforated rubber strap.

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Central Seconds

The striking minimalism of H. Moser & Cie.'s 'Endeavour' watch pulls focus to the maker's signature smoked dial - it's been executed in a process that takes no less than 200 steps to effect. It's crafted from 18-karat white gold with a resilient kudu leather strap and has an exhibition case back so you can fully appreciate the HMC 200 automatic movement.

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Centre Seconds

H. Moser & Cie.'s 'Endeavour Perpetual Centre Seconds' watch looks simple at first glance, but take a closer look at the Cosmic brown fumé dial and you'll notice a gradient sunburst effect, which requires over 200 different steps to achieve. Powered by an in-house calibre HMC 200 automatic movement, it has an 18-karat red gold case complemented beautifully by the light-brown kudu leather strap.

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Moon

The artful simplicity of H. Moser & Cie.'s limited edition 'Endeavour' watch belies the complexity of its execution. Powered by the HMC 801 hand-wound movement, its centerpiece is a moon phase complication with precision that boasts one day's deviation every 1027 years. Encased in 18-karat red gold and left without indices, the dial is modelled after night skies, made from aventurine glass that gleams with metal shards to mimic a dusting of stars.
