Our Favourites Watches On Amazon This Week #2

Welcome back to our latest series, Favourite Watches On Amazon This Week. Last week we featured a variety of amazing watches from Audemars Piguet, Rolex and Girard-Perregaux. This week, we're going to climb outside the box and feature a handful of incredible watches that are, to an extent, against the grain. We'll be highlighting watches from Blancpain, Chopard and Ulysse Nardin that are a touch outside the norm. Enjoy!

Breitling Navitimer B03 Rattrapante

Encased in rose gold, the Breitling Navitimer B03 Rattrapante is an immense example of what you kind find on the other side of the fence. I've handled this piece in the metal, and it absolutely did not disappoint. There is so much happening at all times with this piece. From the rose gold case to the slate grey dial, from the black sub-dial registers to the red seconds hand, from that ultra-luxe black leather strap to the inconspicuous date window, all the way to that dubiously delicious looking rattrapante pusher on the crown. Brilliant.

Ulysse Nardin GMT Perpetual

Ulysse Nardin continues to enthral and entice, however one of the maison's most intriguing timepieces is the polarising Ulysse Nardin GMT Perpetual. With a super architectural case, a very interesting and asymmetrical dial and these blown-out leaf-shaped hands, the Ulysse Nardin GMT Perpetual is indeed one of those watches that speak volumes about the individual that has the gonads to wear it.

Breguet Marine Chronograph 5827BB125ZU

Next up we have the Breguet Marine Chronograph 5827BB125ZU. Similar to Ulysee Nardin's GMT Perpetual, the Marine Chronograph 5827BB125ZU has a very structural case design with plenty of sharp angles, sloping curves and soft edges. But the pièce de résistance is the Breguet Marine Chronograph 5827BB125ZU's wonderful hand-engraved silver dial. It features a variety of textures and finishings, which compliments the very engineered case and riveted rubber strap. Big, big fan.

Blancpain L-Evolution Reveil GMT

I did say that we were going to venture away from the usual in this week's edition, right? Well, if you're looking for a watch unlike anything really out there, look no further than the Blancpain L-Evolution Reveil GMT. With its asymmetrical dial, sporty-luxe look, boldness, oddities throughout and very avant-garde nature, the Blancpain L-Evolution Reveil GMT is a surefire way to add some pop to your collection.

Chopard L.U.C Quattro Manual

From Chopard we have the L.U.C Quattro Manual. With its distinct, modern-meets-traditional dial to the beautifully finished manually wound 223-component L.U.C 98.01-L calibre and that soft-touch white gold case, the Chopard L.U.C Quattro Manual is a stunning timepiece that fits the bill of a luxurious haute horlogerie example. Just brilliant.

Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Chronographe Quantième Complet

Chock full of actual usable tech, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Chronographe Quantième Complet features a flyback chronograph, a complete chronograph and a moon phase indicator. The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Chronographe Quantième Complet has a sporty look, a wonderfully ergonomic case that's as durable as it is beautiful, and an overall look that is as humbling as it is intriguing.
