Watches of the Week: 28/02/2022 - 06/03/2022

Welcome to the next edition of our regular series where we feature the latest releases and news in the industry, Watches of the Week. In this week's instalment, we'll be highlighting some amazing new watches from Armin Strom, Franck Muller and Louis Erard. Enjoy!

Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force

Armin Strom has introduced a new limited edition variation of its acclaimed Gravity Equal Force. This time featuring an off-centre jungle-green dial, the new Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force also brings about the talents of Kari Voutilainen, who personally had a hand at creating the green dial's distinct guilloché dial.

Franck Muller x Sporting Clube de Portugal

Franck Muller celebrates the 115th anniversary of Sporting Clube de Portugal with a new homage piece. Made in a limited run of only 21 pieces, the Franck Muller Sporting CP Remember 115 Limited Edition showcases the colours of the club. It comes in a green gold case, green numerals as well as an inscription of the Sporting Clube de Portugal on the back of the case. There are also numbers placed on the dial in hologram, making them look like they're floating behind the main dial. These numerals are significant in that they are symbolic dates and numbers: 1906 the foundation year of Sporting Clube de Portugal, 39 the number of European Cups won, 23 as the number of National Football Championships won, 54 the number of sports disciplines and 146 the number of Olympic athletes.

Louis Erard Guilloché Main II

The new Louis Erard Guilloché Main II is the maison's second hand guilloché dial timepiece. Featuring a hypnotic geometrical guilloché dial, the Louis Erard Guilloché Main II's darkened colour palette fits the overall aesthetic of the piece really quite nicely. There's a subtle play of colours, with dark and light monochromatic colours patterned on the abstract dial, offset by those blued steel hands. Another brilliant timepiece from Louis Erard.
