Red With Envy: 8 Striking Red Watches to Add Some Colour to Your Collection

Red is a power colour. It's striking, full of charisma and pizzazz. Red watches are as vibrant as they are polarising. Some collectors wear red watches with pride, while others steer clear of them. We've put together some of our favourite red watches across all price points, including examples from Tudor, Omega and Chopard. Enjoy!

Ulysse Nardin Skeleton X Magma

With its distinctive openworked X-shaped movement and carbon fibre layered case with black and magma-red, the Ulysse Nardin Skeleton X Magma is a stunning example of a red watch with undeniable elements of haute horlogerie throughout.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black is one of my favourite pieces generally, and certainly so on this list. As far as functional red watches go, it's hard to look past the ultra-stealthy Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black, and with only the most subtle of additions of red throughout, it's completely inconspicuous.

Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph Black PVD Titanium

From Franck Muller we have the Vanguard Chronograph Black PVD Titanium. Similar to the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black, the Vanguard Chronograph Black PVD Titanium has subtle red highlights throughout the dial, case and strap. Another stealthy, fly-under-the-radar red watch to consider.

Chopard Mille Miglia Racing Colours

As far as distinctive red watches go, it's hard to look past the Chopard Mille Miglia Racing Colours. With its bright red dial, chronograph functionality and sporty look, it's clear that the Chopard Mille Miglia Racing Colours has a direct correlation with motor sports. One of the most striking examples of a red watch on this list, for sure.

Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 TWA

Vintage inspired, the Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 TWA has all of the tell-tale signs of a watch reminiscent of the past. I really like the soft, almost aged look of the red highlights throughout, especially when coupled with the creamy dial contrasted by the white inner chapter ring. Fantastic stuff.

Oris Aquis Date

The Oris Aquis Date is a tried and true budget legend in its own right, so when I saw this piece I thought it imperative to add it to this list. Sure it doesn't have that much red on the dial, but I think the red strap more than makes up for that.

Tudor Black Bay

The Tudor Black Bay is another legendary piece, with this particular model, reference M79230R-0011 being one of the original contemporary remakes of the icon. Less red and more burgundy, the Black Bay still holds its own as a wonderful candidate for the best red watch on this list.

Omega Speedmaster Racing Co-Axial Chronograph

Last but not least we have the Omega Speedmaster Racing Co-Axial Chronograph. This is an especially captivating piece topped off with that incredible red dial. I love the addition of red on the bezel, a nice subtle touch that works well with the overall boldness of the red dial. A masterful take from Omega on the typical red watch.
